Forgotten World Highway, New Zealand / by Lucas Winzenburg

Our friend Craig in New Zealand sent over these beautiful shots from a multi-day, 185km tour with his 9-year-old son on the remote Forgotten World Highway. Craig says the route, which departs from the small railway town of Taumarunui and follows ancient Maori trade routes, offers some of the best backcountry scenery on the North Island. Judging by the photos, we’d have to agree. That's one cool kid!
